~Weird Illness & Lesson Being Learned~

Well, knowing it has been awhile since my last post. I have had my daughter Subria randomly loose her stomach one day, and two days later she is doing it again. I have no idea what is happening. Earlier this morning, my youngest Jasmine, was very hot too touch...I gave her tyleno and seemed to help some. But, my question is, what is God wanting to show me? I have been home all week...I like to be on the go, if you understand. So, this has been rough for me. I am noticing that I have a short circuit fuse, where it really concerns a toddler and infant, of those not feeling well. Constantly fussy, well...almost. And Subria enjoys torturing her sister. Not my style of fun ;( I have yet to pass that test in raising children. I will post more later.

  1. Hey Dylanna,
I'm experiencing that on the older end of the scale. I'm older and my kids are older too. :) I'm on the third child to go down with fever in the last couple of weeks. Funny how suddenly I couldn't decide what dosage of Tylenol he needed (half dose or adult dose?), what herbs to give, or if I needed to make him eat or not when he says, "not hungry"....etc. I realized it's cuz I'm growing tired of taking care of sick ones!! and I'm ready to return to "regular life"!! Yes, when our children are sick, often God is bringing us to His feet again, needy for His love to fill us. Or at least that's where He'd like us to be. Hmmm, reading this reminds me that when I am weary caring for my OLDER children, I can surely remember there's a mama of younger ones that's more weary than I. Good time to pray for each other, isn't it? In fact, everytime I go through a trial as a mom, and I turn to thank the Lord for getting me through it, I could certainly then pray for other mamas going through that same trial! Just a brainstorm.... So, tonight, as my head hits the pillow and just before my eyelids close, I shall pray for you and Jasmine and Subria. May the sickness quickly pass....but while it lasts, may you enjoy drawing near to them and caring for their needs. And may their hearts be more joined to you through all of that. Love you, Dylanna. Good night.
